December Member Letter

Dear Members and Friends,

We hope that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Day with an opportunity to spend time with family and friends to celebrate all our reasons to be thankful. I personally celebrated the one-year anniversary of being cancer free. I am incredibly blessed by the support from my wife Kim, my employers Joni & Ted Smith, my coworkers and the support of our entire TCLS Family. I often relate the messages in songs to life, so I have been thinking about Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying". Please take the time to listen to the message. My life was never in danger, but having a potentially serious illness helps put things into perspective. I encourage everyone to Love Deeper, Speak Sweeter and Give Forgiveness this Christmas Season. Become the Husband, Brother and Friend "a friend would like to have". Read the Good Book and take a good, long, hard look and hopefully you can "Live your life like you were dying!" As the song recommends, I did jump out of a plane at 15000 feet in October! While I would not recommend this to everyone, it too gave me a new perspective.

A special "Thank You" to all Members who participated in the Annual Employee Christmas Gift Program. Almost 100 employee families enjoyed Christmas Gifts that help make their Holidays brighter. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.

Greg, Madison and the entire Club House team are in the process of decorating the Club for Christmas. Please stop by and take your Christmas Family photos at The Club!

December brings a long list of Events for your enjoyment. Tuesday Night Boat Tours of the Turtle Cove Christmas Lights start on November 29th and run through December. Don't forget to take advantage of our Complimentary Gift Wrapping Service, just drop off your gifts and the team will wrap and return them in 48 hours or less. We are once again offering Parents Day Out so Mom and Dad can get out and do some holiday shopping or just enjoy a romantic lunch while we watch the kiddos! Speaking of kiddos, make sure to RSVP for the Family Gingerbread House Construction Party and our Annual Polar Express Movie. Children can address their letters to Santa (Santa will attend in person to collect letters!)

We hope to see everyone at our Complimentary Member Christmas Party on Monday, December 5th. Please make sure to RSVP so we are able to prepare the necessary amount of Food and Beverage and staff accordingly. The entire Club will be dedicated to celebrate Christmas with our TCLS Family. Please pick up your wristbands in the administrative office prior to the event to avoid registration delays at the door.

We will send off 2022 and welcome 2023 with our Annual "Biggest Bash in Georgia" New Years Eve Celebration on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Featuring the Band "Reunion", we will welcome the New Year with great music, food and Fireworks at Midnight!

Please enjoy all your Club has to offer this Christmas Season. Thank you for your loyalty and Friendship!
Jeff

Due to continued low attendance, Aubri Lanes will be discontinuing Sunday Brunch through the Holiday Season. Unfortunately, we have been averaging under 30 attendees since September. We will revisit Sunday Brunch in early 2023 in an attempt to provide an event enjoyed by more members.
