February Member Letter

Dear TCLS Friends,

As the first month of the New Year draws to a close, it is great to see all our friends at the Club attending our numerous social events. Tuesday Night Family Value Meal has resumed and been well attended as Chef Keoko continues to create wonderfully themed options for your enjoyment. Texas Hold ‘em nights have experienced increased attendance as folks enjoy complimentary adult beverages and snacks while flirting with “Lady Luck”! We play Texas Hold ‘em the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month; please call early Tuesday if you are able to attend. Our Comedy night was a huge hit as nationally known comedian Carl Guerra kept us entertained last Friday night. Since Brunch was moved to the last Sunday of each month, attendance has been impressive. Please make your reservations as early as possible so we can adequately prepare to serve you! Also, please make sure to RSVP to Madison for our upcoming Dance Party featuring our Hometown Band “Reunion”.

As the rain subsides, spring will bring a host of new events such as Family Pizza Night, Axe Throwing, Glo-Ball golf and Big Break style golf events. We are anxiously waiting to break ground on the new pickle ball facility as soon as the weather permits. Warm weather is just around the corner, so golfers should get your Clubs ready; find a partner and sign up for Ball Busters. We hope our new range ball dispenser will be up and running soon, so watch for announcements as we rollout this new service.

We are preparing for a busy season at the pool pavilion. We rebuilt the pool pump; we are resurfacing the entire pool deck while adding space for additional sunbathing. Additional chaise lounges, tables, chairs and umbrellas will allow our expanded membership an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful pools this season.

On a more serious note, we are asking for each of our Member’s help to prevent a tragedy. It has always been our policy to prohibit carts in the parking lot, ever since we opened as the Club at Lake Sinclair. Over time, we have become less vigilant in policing this policy; leading to several small accidents one narrowly averted tragedy. The force of a car or truck striking a golf cart can be deadly! We are in the process of constructing barriers to block carts from the parking area, but ask for your help until this project is complete. Please utilize the bag drop and cart attendants to facilitate the transfer of Clubs from your car to the golf cart without taking our carts into the parking lot. Your help could save a life!

As we head into spring and the weather warms up, our Club Family will undoubtedly continue to grow. We are nearing our anticipated membership cap, so if you have family or friends who have not yet joined The Club, please let them know there is no better time to join; each member who refers a new member is rewarded with a $200 Club Credit to the referring member.

Thank you for your support and friendship!

Sincerely,

Jeff & The TCLS Team
