May Member Letter

Dear Friends,

WOW! Thanks to our wonderful Members, people from across the State of Georgia want to be a Member at The Club and share your company! We welcomed 44 new Member Families to The Club in April and have more than a dozen families who sent in their application for Membership beginning in May. Our remaining Golf Memberships are in the single digits (six as I am composing this letter) so if you are a Social Member contemplating upgrading your Membership, please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank you to our tenured Members who helped at our New Member Mixer in April. If you were unable to attend, you missed a great gathering. Please join me in welcoming our newest Member Families:

As we welcome our new families, we anticipate a robust pool season. Our Members can enjoy the “soft opening” of the pool from Tuesday May 3 until our grand opening on Memorial Day weekend. Please review our Pool Rules and Regulations that are attached. Just as a reminder, all food & beverage consumed at the pool must be purchased from Aubri Lanes. All Members will be requested to show their ID Cards upon entering the pool to protect the integrity of your Membership! If you have lost your ID Card, please contact Renee for a replacement. We are excited for a great pool season!

As we are very near our Golf Membership capacity, we have eliminated all non-member access for daily play on our golf course. By removing the potential for non-member golf rounds, we are proud to announce that our Golf Members can bring accompanied “Out-of-Town” guests up to six times per year! (some exclusions apply)

Finally, I would like to announce some long overdue promotions and recognition!

Mrs. Renee Burgamy has been promoted to Assistant General Manager. Renee has taken ownership of the general administrative business of The Club since she started 5 years ago. Her leadership is invaluable and her promotion is well deserved!

Mr. Greg Prosser has been promoted to Club House Manager. In addition to booking, planning and executing all special occasion events, Greg oversees all of the R&M and décor for the entire Club. His keen eye and attention to detail is unparalleled. Greg will continue to assist the team while serving our member events.

Ms. Madison Reynolds started in our Golf Shop just a few short years ago and has been promoted several times, but most recently to Member Relations and Communications Manager. Madison is in charge of all Social Programming to include the conception, planning, publicity and execution of all member activities and events. Madison will of course continue to assist the team while serving all non-member special events.

Mr. Matthew Fitzpatrick, GCSAA is our Grounds Superintendent and was hired with a wealth of knowledge. He is finishing the final curriculum to earn the coveted National Certification from his professional organization.

Mr. David Franklin, PGA has been serving our Members and our community for the last 30+ years. David continues to go above and beyond to make sure that not only our Golfers, but every Member of the Club is satisfied. We just completed our first “Men’s Member-Guest” in April. David and his staff received rave reviews. This event will become an annual tradition where our Members can proudly display all we have to offer at TCLS!
