September Member Letter
Valued Members,
As school is back in session, we are winding down a busy summer season while gearing up for an robust Golf and Social calendar of activities heading into Fall! We kick-off September with our first Murder Mystery Dinner with a 1980's theme. Dust off your parachute pants and SQUEEZE into them for "Love the 80's to DEATH"! on Friday, September 2 at 6:30 pm. Make sure to reserve your table with Madison.
We will celebrate Labor Day on Monday, September 5th with a BBQ at the pool and beach music by "Doctor Don". David and the folks in the Golf Shop will be taking tee times with the last cart going out at noon. Remember, our pool will be open on a "swim at your own risk" through the end of October, weather permitting.
We will be aerifying our putting greens beginning Tuesday, September 6th. Matthew and his team will complete the front nine holes on Tuesday and Wednesday followed by the back nine holes on Thursday and Friday. All holes should be ready for play on Saturday, September 10th. We are proud of our "Lake Life" inspired new tee markers. A special "thank you" to Matthew Fitzpatrick, our Superintendent and Keith Lango, our Mechanic for all the help in creating our new markers.
Please join me in welcoming our newest Members:

Many have asked about our Membership availability and if we will eventually cap our Membership. In May of this year, we discontinued accepting new golf Membership in an attempt to ensure our current Members were able to continue to utilize their course freely. Through Mid-June, we experienced no inventory issues regarding tee-times, so we began accepting new golf members provided they were related-to / referred-by current members in good standing. As of August 31, 2022 we have 332 Golf member Families and 228 Social Member Families for a total of 560 Member Families! We will continue to monitor the availability of both Golf and Social Events to determine when we decide to cap our Membership. Please make sure to reserve for all events as early as possible as we have reached our capacity at several recent events. Currently, we feel our cap number will be at 600 Member Families. If you know folks who should be a Member at The Club but have not done so yet, please let them know we expect to go on a wait list, potentially before the Holidays!
Madison and Greg have been doing a wonderful Job on all events, but we can always use your help! Any Member with event ideas willing to sit on a planning committee should reach out to Madison. We are always looking for ways we can continue to offer value to your Membership!
Here at The Club, we are feeling the much publicized labor shortage. We have many positions open in most departments. We need folks in Grounds maintenance to help on the golf course and we have an opening for a well-rounded handy man for maintenance and small tasks around the Clubhouse. David needs Shop/Cart Attendants and we continue to search for an Assistant Golf Professional. Renee could use late season pool gate attendants/guards and she is searching for a payable/receivable clerk. If any Members know of anyone interested in one of these openings, please direct them to me and I will point them to the appropriate Department Head.
Thank you so much for your support and your friendship.
Jeff & The TCLS Team
